Ultrasound Level 1 vs Ultrasound Level 2
The key distinction between level 1 and level 2 ultrasound is that the former is also known as a Growth scan and takes place between the 28th and 30th week of pregnancy. It is used to determine whether or not the baby is developing normally. Level 2 ultrasound, on the other hand, is also known as an anomaly scan and focuses on the baby’s growth in relation to each and every part of his body. This happens during the 20th week of pregnancy.
